Milo's 5K for the Homeless 2026: Walk, Run, or Wag to End Homelessness on Long Island
This year's Milo's 5K for the Homeless was our biggest yet, with 100 more participants than last year joining the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless to walk, run, or wag in support of ending homelessness. The event raises awareness around a lesser-known barrier: most shelters don't allow pets, which can prevent people from seeking help. Come for the cause, stay for the dogs.
